Dew Toning Elixir
A toner or mist can be key to help complete any skincare ritual. Because most tapwater has a pH (potential hydrogen) that is more alkaline than the natural pH of facial skin, it is important to re-balance the skin’s pH after cleansing. The aloe vera and witch hazel in this spray toner help soothe and hydrate skin, while the helichrysum and calendula hydrosols help heal and repair skin, and the botanical extracts brighten and double down on potent healing properties.
Scent: Fresh, herbaceous, floral, humid.
Feeling: Like standing beside a waterfall in a tropical jungle.
This product contains a small amount of essential oils, mainly for their healing, soothing benefits for the skin. However, if you have a sensitivity to essential oils or just prefer a product free of added scent, Dew Toning Elixir also comes in an Unscented option!
This product is handcrafted in small batches, and is infused with Reiki before reaching your door. Colour and texture may vary slightly from batch to batch.
Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is highly moisturizing, and contains compounds auxin and gibberellins, which help reduce inflammation, speed wound healing, and increase cell turnover.
Witch Hazel
Witch hazel is naturally astringent, which helps to tone skin. It also has antioxidant and antibacterial properties.
Calendula Hydrosol
Calendula has been loved for centuries for its powerful healing and soothing properties. It also has antiseptic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, stimulant, antiviral, and anti-fungal properties.
Helichrysum Hydrosol
Also known as immortelle or everlasting has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, and is another powerful skin healer.
Licorice Root Extract
Licorice extract helps brighten and soothe skin. It also contains Glabridin, a natural alternative to hydroquinone that helps to reduce hyperpigmentation by regulating melanin production and blocking the enzyme that causes damaged skin to darken.
Aspen Bark Extract
Aspen contains salicin, a natural and gentler form of salicylic acid, which helps to soothe and condition skin while fighting acne-causing bacteria.
Olive Leaf Extract
Packed full of antioxidants and phytonutrients, olive leaf extract also contains an active component called oleuropein, which has been shown to speed wound healing, regulate melanin production, protect skin from sun damage, and reduce inflammation in the skin.
Dew toning elixir uses a natural fermented preservative system called Leucidal SF Complete. This contains a naturally antimicrobial ferment of Lactobacillus (derived from lactic acid bacteria), and fermented coconut fruit extract, which restricts growth of microorganisms by acidifying its environment and disrupting the cellular structures of fungi before they can grow and multiply.

For external use only, discontinue use if irritation occurs. Avoid direct contact with eyes.
Best when used within 12 months of opening. Store in cool, dark place.

Ceremony
After cleansing, shake well and spray a few times onto skin, being careful not to get any into your eyes. While the skin is still damp apply Divine Facial Oil to seal in hydration. Can be used to set makeup or anytime throughout the day as a pick-me-up.
